It’s easy to get started dancing the tango. It might look complicated, but you can learn the essentials of tango in a few weeks! As a dancer, you will gain confidence, poise and elegance while having fun learning new skills. You will get hooked on the feeling.

Classes

Weekly class can be found HERE.  Tango classes meet on Thursdays

All classes taught by Joe and Carlota

Joe & Carlota have taught tango for more than 25 years. Sharing their love for the dance, they have put hundreds of tango dancers on the floor.  They invite you to experience a fascinating and unique dance.

Practilonga

Tango Practice Dance
 

Practilonga is a combination of a Milonga (social dance) and a Practica (practice session).

It’s a beginner friendly opportunity to activate what you are learning in tango class. Feel free to stop and figure out your moves, ask questions of teachers who are present, and try new things.

DATES:  November 16, December 21

Brief lesson at 8:00pm

Admission: $10 / $5 student, post-doc & currently enrolled UDC students

Milongas

Milongueros from the region gather to dance, socialize, enjoy snacks and beverage.

Come and enjoy beautiful tango dancing in the spacious ballroom Urbana Dance Company.

 

All are welcome.
